National Flour Milling Company (NFMC), as the recent reference mill of Alapala in Africa, started its operation at Berbera Port region in Somaliland. The mill has been installed and started trial production in April 2020, and the company started preparations for distribution of the nationally produced flour all over the country.

The whole equipment supply and installation of the flour mill plant is provided in turnkey basis by Alapala, including the 300 TPD capacity flour mill, 4×7.500 ton capacity steel storage silos, and the steel structure for the mill building.
