Since its foundation in 1954, Alapala has grown from a small family workshop into one of the world’s leading engineering and technology groups serving the food processing industry.

While our company has expanded across more than 120 countries and successfully delivered thousands of projects worldwide, our core values have remained unchanged. Integrity, engineering excellence, quality, reliability and long term partnerships continue to define who we are and guide every decision we make.

The food processing industry is entering a new era. Digital transformation, intelligent automation, artificial intelligence and sustainable technologies are reshaping the future of industrial production. Our founder

From a Small Workshop to a Global Engineering Group…

Alapala’s journey began in 1954, when Mehmet Alapala established a small workshop dedicated to the design and production of wooden sieves.

In 1961, his expertise attracted the attention of Henry Simon, one of the leading milling machinery manufacturers of the time. Mehmet Alapala was invited to support the production of essential equipment for a newly established flour mill in Çorum.

The experience gained through this collaboration became a defining moment in Alapala’s history. Mehmet Alapala went on to manufacture high quality sieves for flour mills, earning recognition across Türkiye through his commitment to precision, quality and meticulous craftsmanship.

With the establishment of the Alapala Feed Mill in 1982 and the Alapala Flour Mill in 1984, the foundations were laid for what would later become the Alapala Group a global engineering and technology group serving the food processing industry.
