Caribbean Grain Company S.A. (CGC), specializing in the import, distribution, and storage of rice and other grain products, was founded in 2009. It operates as part of the Acra Group, one of Haiti’s largest private sector conglomerates with over 90 years of history.
The plant, commissioned by Alapala as a turn-key project, has a daily milling capacity of 450 tons. A six-storey factory building, with a height of 28 meters, was also constructed.
